If you are starting from the Kandy Clock Tower, head southeast along Peradeniya Road (A1) for about 500 meters. You will pass the Kandy Museum on your left. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Sri Dalada Veediya.

At the traffic lights, turn left onto Sri Dalada Veediya. You will see the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) on your right. Continue walking straight for about 300 meters.
