Getting There

Walking
From the center of Kandy, start at the Kandy Lake. Head north towards the Kandy Clock Tower and take the road leading west from it. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with the A26 road (Peradeniya Road). Turn left onto the A26 road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Rothschild Tea Estate. Once you reach the junction with Rothschild Estate Road, turn right and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. The Rothschild Tea Estate - Factory will be on your left.

Tuk-tuk
From the city center, find a tuk-tuk stand, which are commonly located near Kandy Lake or the Kandy Clock Tower. Tell the driver you want to go to Rothschild Tea Estate. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take the A26 road towards Peradeniya. After about 1.5 kilometers, they will turn onto Rothschild Estate Road. Just ask the driver to drop you off at the Rothschild Tea Estate - Factory.

Public Bus
From Kandy City Center, walk to the Kandy Bus Terminal. Look for a bus heading towards Peradeniya or Gampola. Board the bus and ask the conductor to let you know when to get off at Rothschild Estate Road. The bus ride will take around 20-30 minutes. Once you get off, walk a short distance down Rothschild Estate Road, and you will reach the Rothschild Tea Estate - Factory.
