If you're driving from Kegalle town, take the A1 highway towards Colombo. After approximately 10 km, turn left onto the A8 road towards Mawanella. Continue straight for about 6 km, then turn right onto the road leading to Ambalakanda. Follow this road for about 3 km until you reach the Belumgala View Point. The road may be narrow and winding, so drive cautiously.

From Kegalle town, take a bus heading towards Mawanella. Buses frequently leave from the main bus stand and the fare is around LKR 30-50. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Mawanella bus stop. From there, you can take a three-wheeler (tuk-tuk) to Ambalakanda for about LKR 300-400. Inform the driver that you want to go to Belumgala View Point. The tuk-tuk ride will take approximately 15 minutes.
