    If you are driving from Kegalle, head northwest on the A1 road towards Kandy. Continue on the A1 for approximately 35 kilometers. As you approach Kandy, follow the signs for the city center and take the A26 route towards Kandy. Once you enter Kandy, keep left at the fork to stay on the A26. After about 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Tooth Relic). Turn left onto Dalada Veediya, and you will find the temple on your right. There is available parking nearby.

    To reach Sri Dalada Maligawa by public transport, take a bus from Kegalle to Kandy. Buses are frequent and can be caught from the Kegalle bus stand. The journey takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kandy bus station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Walk straight along the main road (Dalada Veediya) for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the Sri Dalada Maligawa on your left.
