Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving a car, start from Jaffna city center. Head north on KKS Road (A9) for approximately 20 kilometers. Follow the signs for Valvettithurai. Once you reach Valvettithurai, continue straight until you reach Feild Work Centre Road. Turn left onto Feild Work Centre Road and drive for about 500 meters. The Northern Provincial Hydrological Research Center will be on your right at the address R46J+X59.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach the Northern Provincial Hydrological Research Center using public transportation, take a bus from Jaffna Central Bus Station heading towards Valvettithurai. The bus fare is approximately 50 LKR. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Valvettithurai, disembark at the main bus stop.
