From the central point in Nuwara Eliya, such as the Nuwara Eliya Post Office, start walking towards the main road, Grand Hotel Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the A5 highway. Turn left onto the A5 highway and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for a bus stop named 'Kandy Bus Stop' on your left. Once you reach the bus stop, take a local bus heading towards Kandy. The bus fare is very affordable, and it will take approximately 20-30 minutes to reach Kandy.

After arriving at the Kandy Bus Station, exit the station and look for a tuk-tuk or a local bus heading to Ampitiya Road. Inform the driver that your destination is Canbuy Gem Museum located at 20000, Ampitiya Rd. It is about a 10-minute ride from the bus station. The museum will be on your right-hand side as you approach the area.
