    From the center of Nuwara Eliya, head towards the main road (Gregory Lake Road). Walk straight until you reach the bus station at Nuwara Eliya. From there, take a local bus heading to Kandy. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Kandy bus station, exit the station and walk towards the main road. The Kandy National Museum is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Head south on D.S. Senanayake Veediya, then turn left onto Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe Mawatha. Continue walking straight until you see the museum on your right.

    You can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Nuwara Eliya. Ask the driver to take you to the Kandy bus station. Once you reach the bus station in Kandy, get off and walk towards the main road. The Kandy National Museum is a short 15-minute walk from the bus station. Head south on D.S. Senanayake Veediya, then turn left onto Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe Mawatha. The museum will be on your right.
