Getting There

  • Walking

    From the city center of Nuwara Eliya, head towards the main road, Nuwara Eliya - Kumbalwela Rd. Walk towards the direction of the Kumbalwela area. Continue walking for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Mahamevnawa Rd. Turn left onto Mahamevnawa Rd. The Vipassana Meditation and Yoga Center is approximately 500 meters down this road on the right side. Look for the sign indicating the center.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    You can easily find a tuk-tuk in Nuwara Eliya. Tell the driver you want to go to the Vipassana Meditation and Yoga Center on Mahamevnawa Rd in Kumbalwela. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before you start your journey. The tuk-tuk will drop you off right at the entrance of the center.
