Walking
If you are in Ella town, start at the Main Street near the Ella Railway Station. Head east towards the Ella Rock. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction near the Ella Spice Garden. Turn left at the junction and follow the road for about 500 meters until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right path, which is less traveled. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers, passing by local shops and small eateries. When you reach the Kithalella area, look for the sign for The Nirwana Cottage Ella on your left. The cottage is located just off the main road; follow the small path leading to the cottage.

Tuk-Tuk
From Ella town, you can easily find a tuk-tuk at the main bus station or anywhere along the Main Street. Tell the driver you would like to go to The Nirwana Cottage in Kithalella. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the nearest point to the cottage, and you may need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance, which is well-signposted.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Ella. Start from the Main Street and cycle towards the Kithalella area. Follow the same route as the walking instructions, taking the left turn at the junction near Ella Spice Garden. Continue cycling for about 2 kilometers, enjoying the scenery along the way. Upon reaching Kithalella, look for the sign for The Nirwana Cottage on your left. There is a small path that leads to the cottage.
