Walking
From the main entrance of Polonnaruwa Archaeological Museum, head east on Parakrama Samudra Mawatha. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the 2nd exit onto Parakrama Samudra Mawatha. Walk for another 500 meters and you will see the Summer Palace of King Parakramabahu I on your left.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Polonnaruwa. Head east on Parakrama Samudra Mawatha and continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the 2nd exit onto Parakrama Samudra Mawatha. Cycle for another 500 meters and you will see the Summer Palace of King Parakramabahu I on your left.
