If you are starting from the Polonnaruwa bus station, exit the station and head southeast on the main road (Maha Viharaya Road). Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Sacred Square Road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will find Nissanka Lata Mandapa on your left, located in the Sacred Square of the Ancient City.

From the Polonnaruwa bus station, rent a bicycle and head southeast on Maha Viharaya Road. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Sacred Square Road. Continue cycling for approximately 1.2 kilometers, and you will see Nissanka Lata Mandapa on your left, situated within the Sacred Square of the Ancient City.
