From Udawalawe National Park, head east on the A4 road towards Wellawaya. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at Wellawaya. Here, take the B28 road towards Okanda. Drive for approximately 25 kilometers on the B28 until you see signs for Kumana National Park. The entrance is located at HMF9+5PJ, Okanda. Be prepared for a possible entrance fee which is usually around LKR 1,500 per person.

To reach Kumana National Park from Udawalawe National Park using public transport, first make your way to the Udawalawe bus station. Take a bus heading towards Wellawaya.
