    Start your journey at Gothenburg Central Station (Göteborgs Centralstation). From the station, take tram line 11 towards 'Saltholmen'. The tram ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Saltholmen' stop. Once you exit the tram, you will see the ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry to 'Brännö Rönnäng'. The ferry ride lasts about 12 minutes. Upon arriving at 'Brännö Rönnäng', follow the signs to the main road. Walk west along the waterfront for about 10 minutes until you reach the bridge that leads to the island where Oscar II Fort is located. After crossing the bridge, follow the pathway that leads you directly to the fort.

    If you prefer to walk, you can start at the Gothenburg Central Station and head south towards 'Vasa Viktoria'. From there, continue walking towards the ferry terminal at 'Saltholmen'. This is approximately a 5-kilometer walk and will take around 1 hour. Upon reaching the ferry terminal, follow the same ferry instructions to 'Brännö Rönnäng' as mentioned above. Once you arrive, walk along the waterfront and cross over the bridge to the fort.
