Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are starting from T-Centralen (the central subway station), take the blue line (T17 or T18) towards Kungsträdgården. Get off at the Kungsträdgården station. From there, it's a short walk. Exit the station and head towards the water, then walk towards the Gamla Stan area. You will cross the bridge to reach the island of Gamla Stan.

  • Bus

    From the central bus station (Cityterminalen), take bus number 65 towards 'Nordenskiöldsgatan' and get off at 'Gamla Stan'. When you exit the bus, head straight down the road and you will find yourself in the heart of Gamla Stan, close to Västerlånggatan.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre, you can walk to Gamla Stan. Head south on Norrmalmstorg and continue down towards the water. Cross the bridge (Norrbro) and proceed straight into Gamla Stan. You will arrive at Västerlånggatan where you can explore the narrow streets.

  • Tram

    From the Djurgården area, take tram number 7 towards 'T-Centralen'. Get off at the stop 'Slussen'. From Slussen, walk towards the Gamla Stan area by crossing the bridge. When you get to the other side, continue walking straight until you reach Västerlånggatan.
