Bus
From Ascona, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main street, Via Lugano. Board the bus number 2, which is heading towards Lugano. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to get off at the 'Lugano, Funicolare' stop. From there, you can take a short walk to Piazza Bernardino Luini where LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura is located.

Train
Make your way to the Ascona train station, which is a short walk from the center. Take the train towards Lugano. The train ride will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lugano train station, exit and walk towards the bus terminal. From there, catch bus number 2 towards 'Lugano, Funicolare.' Get off at the 'Lugano, Funicolare' stop and walk to Piazza Bernardino Luini to reach LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route along Lake Maggiore. Start from the center of Ascona and follow the lakeside promenade towards Lugano. The walk is approximately 5 kilometers and will take around 1 hour. Once you reach Lugano, continue walking straight until you reach Piazza Bernardino Luini where LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura is situated.
