Bus
From Grindelwald, walk to the Grindelwald PostBus station, which is located in the center of the village. There, catch the PostBus line heading towards Brienz. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Brienz, Bahnhof stop. From there, transfer to the bus heading to Axalp. The bus ride to Axalp will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Axalp stop, follow the signs towards Schnitzlerweg, which is a well-marked hiking trail leading to the area.

Hiking
If you're feeling adventurous and would like to hike, you can take the trail from Grindelwald towards Axalp. This hike is approximately 10 kilometers and can take around 3-4 hours depending on your pace. Start from the center of Grindelwald, follow the signs for the hiking trail towards Axalp. The path offers beautiful views and eventually brings you to Axalp where you can then follow the signs to Schnitzlerweg.
