Upon arrival at Bellinzona Train Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Via della Stazione).

Starting from the city center of Lugano, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is typically along Via Nassa. Take bus number 1 towards Bellinzona. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Bellinzona, get off at the main bus stop. From there, head towards Via della Stazione and then follow the signs to Salita Castelgrande.

If you are already in Bellinzona, start at the Bellinzona Train Station. Exit the station and head down Via della Stazione, which will lead you to the city center. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Nocca. Turn left onto Via Nocca and follow it until you reach Salita Castelgrande. It is a steep incline, so take your time. The walk should take about 20-25 minutes.
