From the center of Ascona, head towards the Ascona-Locarno train station, which is located at Piazza Giuseppe Motta. It's about a 10-minute walk. Once you reach the station, board a train heading towards Bellinzona. The train journey will take approximately 30 minutes. After you arrive at Bellinzona train station, exit and walk towards the main street, Via Guglielmo Marconi. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection. Turn right onto Salita Castelgrande, and follow the road uphill. Your destination, Salita Castelgrande 18, will be on your left after a short walk up the hill.

From any location in Ascona, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Take the bus number 1 that goes towards Locarno. Get off at the Locarno train station. From there, catch a train to Bellinzona. The train ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bellinzona station, follow the signs to exit and head towards Via Guglielmo Marconi. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection and turn right onto Salita Castelgrande. Your destination, Salita Castelgrande 18, will be on the left. This journey may take around 1.5 hours total, including waiting times.
