If you're driving, start from Stone Town. Head north on the B3 road towards Nungwi. Continue on this road for about 45 minutes. Once you reach the town of Nungwi, look for signs directing you to the Zanzibar Butterfly Centre. The centre is located a short drive from the main road; follow the signs until you see the entrance on your right.

Public Transportation
To reach the Zanzibar Butterfly Centre via public transportation, you can take a dala-dala (local minibus) from Stone Town to Nungwi. The trip takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Nungwi, you can take a taxi or a local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to the Butterfly Centre, which is just a few minutes away from the main dala-dala drop-off point. Make sure to ask the driver to take you to the Zanzibar Butterfly Centre to ensure you're heading in the right direction.
