Walking
From the center of Mbeya, head south on the main road towards the Mbeya Bus Terminal. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the terminal. Once there, look for a shared taxi (daladala) heading towards the Ngosi area. Board the daladala and inform the driver that you want to go to Lake Ngosi. The fare should be around 2000 TZS. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. When you reach the Ngosi area, get off at the closest stop to the lake. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Lake Ngosi water viewing area, which is about a 10-minute walk from the stop.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Mbeya. Start from the city center and head towards the Mbeya Bus Terminal. Continue south on the main road towards the Ngosi area. The route is relatively flat and should take about 1 hour by bike. Keep an eye out for roadside signs indicating the direction to Lake Ngosi.
