Walking
From the center of Arusha, head east on Uhuru Road towards the Arusha Clock Tower. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Boma Road. Turn left onto Boma Road and walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the entrance of Arusha National Park. Lake Momella Kubwa is located within the park, so you will need to buy an entrance ticket and follow the signs to the lake. The walk to the lake from the park entrance will take approximately 30 minutes.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Arusha. Start your journey from the center of Arusha and cycle east on Uhuru Road towards the Arusha Clock Tower. Continue straight on Boma Road for about 6 kilometers. You will see signs for Arusha National Park. Park your bicycle at the entrance, pay for your entrance ticket, and follow the designated paths to Lake Momella Kubwa, which is about 3 kilometers from the entrance.

Public Transport (Dala Dala)
Find a Dala Dala (local minibus) heading to Arusha National Park. You can catch one from the Dala Dala station near the central market in Arusha. The fare is usually very affordable. Once you arrive at the park entrance, pay for your entrance fee and follow the signs to Lake Momella Kubwa. It's a short walk of about 3 kilometers from the entrance to the lake.
