Car
If you are driving from Dar es Salaam, take the A7 highway heading west towards Morogoro. After approximately 200 km, you will reach Morogoro town. From Morogoro, follow the signs to Kidayi, which is about 60 km away. Once you arrive in Kidayi, look for the entrance to Udzungwa Mountains National Park, which is well marked. Be prepared to pay an entrance fee at the park gate.

To reach Udzungwa Mountains National Park via public transport, you can take a bus from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro. Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal in Dar es Salaam, and the journey takes about 3 to 4 hours. Once you arrive in Morogoro, you can take a daladala (local minibus) to Kidayi, which is approximately a 60 km ride. Ensure you confirm with the driver that they will stop at Kidayi. After arriving in Kidayi, follow the signs to the entrance of Udzungwa Mountains National Park.
