Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Darajani Market, head south on Kanga Street towards the waterfront. As you walk, you will pass several local shops and stalls on either side. Continue straight until you reach the end of Kanga Street, which will lead you to the junction with Sokoku Street. Turn left onto Sokoku Street, and after a short walk, you will see the House of Wonders on your right. The building is large and has a distinctive architectural style, making it hard to miss.

    If you find yourself near the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe), exit the fort and head east towards the beach. As you approach the waterfront, turn left and walk along the shoreline. Continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach Sokoku Street. Turn right onto Sokoku Street, and the House of Wonders will be ahead on your left, a few minutes walk from the turn.

    If you are near the Forodhani Gardens, exit the gardens and head towards the main road (Mizingani Road). Walk along Mizingani Road in the direction of the Old Fort. Once you reach the Old Fort, follow the previous instructions to reach House of Wonders via Sokoku Street.
