Car
From Tarangire National Park, head south on the A104 highway towards Mbeya. This route is approximately 130 km and will take around 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Make sure to follow the signs towards Mbeya. Once you reach the town of Mbeya, continue to follow signs for the A104 until you reach the junction for the Kitulo National Park road. Turn left onto the road to Matamba and follow the signs for Kitulo National Park. The park is located approximately 33 km from the junction, and you will arrive at the park entrance at WWCH+96, Matamba.

Public Transportation
To reach Kitulo National Park from Tarangire National Park using public transportation, start by finding a bus or shared taxi heading to Mbeya from a nearby town or the park entrance. The bus ride will take approximately 3-4 hours and costs around 15,000 to 20,000 TZS. Upon arrival in Mbeya, you will need to take a local daladala (minibus) or hire a taxi to Matamba. This leg of the journey to Matamba will take about 30 minutes and cost around 5,000 TZS. Make sure to inform the driver that you are heading to Kitulo National Park. Once you arrive in Matamba, follow the signs to the park entrance located at WWCH+96.
