Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Mwanza, head south on the A104 road towards Shinyanga. Continue on this road for about 3 hours until you reach the junction for the A7 road. Turn left onto the A7 and follow it for approximately 2 hours until you reach the town of Mbeya. From Mbeya, follow signs to the A104 towards Tunduma and cross the border into Zambia. After crossing the border, follow the signs to Livingstone. Once you arrive in Livingstone, take the A8 road south to reach the town of Fumba, where The Safari Blue is located. Make sure to check for any tolls along the route, and confirm that your vehicle is allowed to cross borders.

• Public Transportation

  From Mwanza, take a bus to Mbeya. Buses frequently leave from the Mwanza bus station and the journey will take approximately 6 hours. Once you arrive in Mbeya, transfer to another bus heading to Tunduma. After crossing the border into Zambia, you can find local transport options to reach Livingstone. In Livingstone, look for a bus or taxi that can take you to Fumba. Be prepared for additional costs such as bus fares and potential border crossing fees, which can vary depending on the transport service.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from your current location in Western Zone to take you directly to Fumba. This option can be more expensive but will save time. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand. The taxi driver should be familiar with the route to The Safari Blue, located at M7JH+H86 Village Electricity station, Fumba, Zanzibar. This option is ideal for small groups or families who prefer convenience.
