From the center of Zanzibar City, head north towards the Jozani Forest. Rent a bicycle from a local shop. Follow the main road north until you reach the fork at the village of Mkokotoni. Take the left path heading towards Bagamoyo. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach Bagamoyo. Once in Bagamoyo, look for signs directing you towards HW45+QR6. The Old German Boma will be on your left.

If you're keen on walking, start from the Old Fort in Zanzibar City. Walk along the coast towards Forodhani Gardens. Proceed past the gardens and continue on the coastal path until you reach the main road. Follow this road north along the coast for approximately 20 kilometers. You will enter Bagamoyo. Once you arrive in Bagamoyo, ask locals for HW45+QR6, as it's a well-known area. The Old German Boma is a notable landmark.
