Start at the Chattanooga Choo Choo station. Board the CARTA bus route 4 towards the Eastgate Town Center. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'Battlefield Park' stop. From there, you will need to walk about 0.5 miles northwest along Battlefield Parkway until you reach the entrance of Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park.

If you prefer cycling, head to a local bike rental shop in downtown Chattanooga, such as 'Chattown Bike Co.' Rent a bicycle and take the Riverwalk Trail heading south. Follow the trail until it connects to the Chattanooga Greenway, which will lead you towards Lookout Mountain. The total biking distance is about 10 miles. Upon reaching Lookout Mountain, follow the signs to Point Park, which is part of the Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park.
