Car
From Gatlinburg, TN, take US-441 N (also known as the Parkway) towards the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Continue for about 7 miles until you reach the Sugarlands Visitor Center. Here, you can stop for information and restroom facilities. After visiting the center, turn onto Little River Road, following the signs for the Greenbrier area. Continue on Little River Road for approximately 6 miles until you reach the Ramsey Cascades Trailhead, which is located on the left side of the road. Park in the designated area. Note that parking may be limited, especially during peak seasons.

Public Transportation
While public transportation options within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are limited, you can take a shuttle service from Gatlinburg to the national park. Once you reach the Sugarlands Visitor Center via shuttle, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to the Ramsey Cascades Trailhead. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Ramsey Cascades Trailhead on Little River Road. Expect to pay a fare, which may vary depending on the distance and time of day.

Hiking
Once you have parked at the Ramsey Cascades Trailhead, prepare for a 4-mile hike to reach the waterfall. The trail is considered strenuous and will take approximately 2-3 hours one way. Follow the marked trail, which winds through beautiful old-growth forest and alongside the cascading water of the creek. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring plenty of water and snacks. Be aware that the trail can be muddy and steep in sections, so take your time and enjoy the scenery along the way.
