If you are driving from downtown Johnson City, head west on W Main St toward S Roan St. Continue straight onto E State of Franklin Rd. Follow this road for about 2 miles, then turn left onto Stout Dr. The ETSU Foundation Carillon will be on your right at 440 Stout Dr. There is free parking available on the ETSU campus.
Public Transportation
Take the Johnson City Transit bus service, which provides routes throughout the Tri-Cities area. Check the current schedule for Bus Route 1, which travels toward East Tennessee State University. Get off at the nearest stop to ETSU, then walk approximately 0.5 miles north on Stout Dr to reach the Carillon. Make sure to check for any fare costs associated with the bus, which may vary.
Walking
If you are already on the ETSU campus or nearby, the Carillon is easily accessible by foot. Simply navigate to Stout Dr, and the Carillon is located at 440 Stout Dr. It's a pleasant walk within the campus, which features beautiful landscaping.
Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, you can ride to the ETSU campus. There are bike racks available for parking. From downtown Johnson City, take W Market St toward State of Franklin Rd, then follow the bike lanes toward the campus. Once on campus, head to Stout Dr to find the Carillon. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules.
