    If you're driving, head south from Chiang Mai city center. Take Route 108 towards Hang Dong. After approximately 20 kilometers, take a left onto Route 1009 towards Mae Wang. Continue for about 25 kilometers until you reach the Mae Wang District. Look for 'Unnamed Road' sign. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you see signage for Elephant Freedom Village on your left. Parking is available on-site.

  • Public Transportation (Songthaew)

    To reach Elephant Freedom Village by Songthaew, start at the Chiang Mai Arcade Bus Station. Take a local Songthaew heading towards Mae Wang. The fare should be around 30-50 THB. Inform the driver you are going to Elephant Freedom Village. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. You may need to walk about 1 km from the Mae Wang market to reach the village, as the Songthaew may not go directly to the location.
