If you are driving from Nakhon Phanom, head south on Highway 213 towards Mukdahan. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards Tha Uthen District. Follow the signs for the Third Thai–Lao Friendship 3 Bridge. The bridge is located on the provincial road, FPMH+WWG, near Non Tan. The drive should take around 40 minutes in total. Be prepared to pay for any tolls along the way, if applicable.

Public Transportation
You can take a bus from Nakhon Phanom to Mukdahan. Buses leave regularly from the Nakhon Phanom Bus Terminal. Once you arrive in Mukdahan, you can find local songthaews (shared taxis) that will take you to the Third Thai–Lao Friendship 3 Bridge. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the bridge. The total travel time, including waiting and transfer times, may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. The bus fare is usually around 50-100 THB, and the songthaew fare should be around 20-30 THB per person.

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Nakhon Phanom directly to the Third Thai–Lao Friendship 3 Bridge. Taxis are available throughout the city, and you can negotiate the fare in advance. The trip will take approximately 40 minutes and may cost between 400 to 600 THB, depending on your negotiation skills and the traffic conditions.
