Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Vientiane, Laos, head southeast on Route 13. Cross the Friendship Bridge to Nong Khai, Thailand. Once in Nong Khai, follow Route 2 to the city center. Take a left onto VQQ3 (the road leading to the Mekong River). After approximately 3 km, you will see signs for the Naga Statue. The statue is located near the walking street along the riverbank.

Public Bus
From Vientiane, take a bus from the main bus station to Nong Khai. The bus ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Nong Khai bus terminal, you can either take a tuk-tuk or a local songthaew (shared taxi) to the Naga Statue. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Naga Statue and they will take you there. The fare will be around 30-50 THB.
