If you are driving from Chiang Mai, take Route 11 North towards Lampang. Continue on Route 11 until you reach the junction for Route 1. Take Route 1 towards Nan. Once you get to Nan, follow signs to Song Khwae District. After entering Song Khwae, follow local road signs to Tham Sa Koen National Park, located in Yot. The drive will take approximately 5-6 hours, depending on traffic and stops. Be cautious of winding roads as you approach the park.

From Chiang Mai, you can take a bus from the Arcade Bus Station to Nan. Look for buses heading to Nan, which depart regularly throughout the day. The bus journey takes about 6-7 hours. Once in Nan, you can catch a local songthaew (a shared taxi) to Song Khwae District. The fare for the songthaew will cost around 40-60 THB. Ask the driver to drop you off at Tham Sa Koen National Park. This total trip could take around 8-9 hours.
