From Asa Wright Nature Centre, exit the center and turn left onto the Arima-Blanchisseuse Road. Continue along this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction at Blanchisseuse. Turn right onto the Paria Main Road. Drive straight for about 15 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views. You will see signs for Shark River along the way. Look for parking areas nearby, as the river is accessible from the roadside.

To reach Shark River using public transport, start at Asa Wright Nature Centre and walk to the nearest bus stop on the Arima-Blanchisseuse Road. Take a taxi or a bus heading towards Blanchisseuse. Once you arrive at Blanchisseuse, switch to a taxi or a local bus that travels along the Paria Main Road. Inform the driver that you are heading to Shark River.
