Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Fethiye, head to the main bus station (Otogar). Look for buses heading to Kaş, which run regularly throughout the day. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Kaş bus station, exit the station and look for local minibus services (dolmuş) that go to Xanthos. Board a dolmuş heading towards Kınık. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Ancient City of Xanthos.

  • Dolmuş (Minibus)

    After you arrive at Kaş bus station, find the dolmuş stop just outside. Look for a dolmuş marked for Kınık. The ride will take about 20 minutes. The dolmuş will drop you off close to the entrance of the Ancient City of Xanthos. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach your destination.

  • Walking

    Once you are dropped off near the entrance of the Ancient City of Xanthos, you will have to walk a short distance to the site. Follow the path leading to the entrance, which is clearly marked.
