If you are starting from Sultanahmet Square, head towards the blue mosque (Sultan Ahmet Mosque). From the mosque, walk straight down towards the Hippodrome area. The German Fountain is located directly in the Hippodrome, which is a large public square lined with historical monuments. You can easily spot the fountain as it is a prominent structure surrounded by gardens.

If you are near the Taksim area, take the Taksim funicular down to Kabatas, then transfer to the tram line T1 towards Bağcılar. Get off at the Sultanahmet station. Once you exit the tram, follow the signs towards Sultanahmet Square. The German Fountain is located in the Hippodrome, just a short walk from the tram station.

If you are coming from another district, take a bus to the Sultanahmet area. Several bus lines connect to the Sultanahmet bus stop. From the bus stop, walk towards Sultanahmet Square. The German Fountain is situated in the Hippodrome, which you will see ahead as you approach the square.

If you are coming from the Şişli area, take the M2 metro line towards Yenikapı. Change at the Yenikapı station to the M1A metro line towards Aksaray. Get off at the Aksaray station, and take the tram T1 towards Bağcılar. Disembark at the Sultanahmet station. From there, head towards the Hippodrome where the German Fountain is located.
