  • Car

    If you are driving from Acholi, head south on the Gulu-Kampala Road (A1) towards Kampala. Approximately 4-5 hours into your journey, keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Makindye Division. Once you reach the outskirts of Kampala, follow the signs to the city center. As you approach the city, look for Kibuli Road. Turn left onto Kibuli Road and continue straight until you reach Kibuli Mosque, located at Kibuli Road Mukwano Road.

    To reach Kibuli Mosque from Acholi via public transport, first take a bus or shared taxi to Kampala. The journey may take around 5 hours. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Kampala, you can take a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) or a shared taxi to Kibuli. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kibuli Mosque, and they will take you directly there. The fare for the boda-boda should be around 5,000-10,000 UGX, while a shared taxi may cost around 2,000-5,000 UGX.
