Bicycle
If you are in Entebbe, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start your journey by heading northeast towards the Entebbe-Kampala road. Follow the road until you reach the roundabout at Abayita Ababiri, and take the exit to the left onto the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway. Continue cycling until you reach the junction for Kampala. Follow the signs towards Kampala. Once you arrive in Kampala, navigate towards Lubiri Ring Road, where Kabaka's Palace is located. The Twekobe is well-marked, and you'll see the palace entrance.
Public Bus
From Entebbe, head to the main bus terminal located at the center of town. Look for a bus heading to Kampala; the buses are frequent and typically leave every 30 minutes. Make sure to inform the conductor that you want to stop at Lubiri Ring Road. Once in Kampala, disembark at the nearest stop to the Lubiri Ring Road. From there, you can either walk or take a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to Kabaka's Palace. The distance is not far, and the palace is a prominent landmark.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Entebbe town, you can walk to Kabaka's Palace. Start by heading northeast on the main road towards the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway. Walk along the road until you reach the junction leading into Kampala. Continue walking straight and follow the signs for Lubiri Ring Road. As you approach Lubiri, you'll see Kabaka's Palace directly ahead. The walk is approximately 10 kilometers, so ensure you have enough time and stay hydrated.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
To get to Kabaka's Palace from anywhere in Entebbe, find a nearby boda boda stage. When you get on, tell the driver you want to go to 'Kabaka's Palace' or 'The Twekobe on Lubiri Ring Road.' The drivers are familiar with the location. The ride will take around 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. It's a quick and convenient way to reach your destination.
