    From Queen Elizabeth National Park, head east on the main road towards the town of Kasese. Once in Kasese, continue east on the A109 road towards Fort Portal. Follow the signs for Mabira Central Forest Reserve and turn onto the appropriate road. Drive until you reach the entrance of the forest reserve.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a taxi or bus from Queen Elizabeth National Park to the town of Kasese. From Kasese, you can find minibus taxis or boda bodas (motorcycle taxis) heading towards Fort Portal. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Mabira Central Forest Reserve. From there, you may need to walk or arrange for a local guide to take you the rest of the way.
