Getting There

    Start your journey at the Aberdeen city center. Head north on Union Street towards the traffic lights at the intersection with Holburn Street. Cross the road and continue straight onto St. Nicholas Street. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Gallowgate Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with King Street. Turn left onto King Street and follow it until you reach the next roundabout. Here, take the first exit onto the A96. You will see a sign for Old Aberdeen. Follow the A96 for about 1 mile, passing through a residential area. When you reach the next roundabout, take the second exit onto the B983 and continue straight until you reach The Chanonry. St. Machar's Cathedral will be on your left.

    From Aberdeen city center, head to the bus station on Guild Street. Look for the bus services that head towards Old Aberdeen or the University of Aberdeen.
