Walking
From the centre of Old Aberdeen, head northeast towards the University of Aberdeen. Walk along High Street, passing the historic buildings, until you reach the junction with St Machar Drive. Turn left onto St Machar Drive. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. The Cruickshank Botanic Garden will be on your right-hand side, marked by its entrance gate.

If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch the First Aberdeen service 1, 2, or 3 from the nearest bus stop in Old Aberdeen. Board the bus heading towards the city center and ask the driver to let you know when to get off for St Machar Drive. Once you get off, walk back a short distance along St Machar Drive, and you will find the entrance to Cruickshank Botanic Garden on your left. The bus fare is approximately £1.50 for a single journey.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from Old Aberdeen to Cruickshank Botanic Garden. Head northeast on High Street and then left onto St Machar Drive. The garden is about a 10-minute ride from Old Aberdeen. There are bike racks near the entrance for you to secure your bike.
