If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Berwickshire and head south on the A1 road towards Edinburgh. Continue on the A1 for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction for the A720 (City Bypass). Take the exit onto the A720 towards the west (signs for M8 and A8). After a few miles, take the exit for the A90 towards Forth Road Bridge. Follow the A90 and take the exit for the A904 towards South Queensferry. Continue until you reach Queensferry. Hopetoun House is located just outside the village on the left side of the road, with a large entrance sign marking the way. Parking is available on-site, and there may be a small parking fee.
