From the golf club, take the path that leads directly to Reiss Sands. There is no parking directly at the beach, but you can park at the golf club and walk to the beach. Please be aware that parking at the golf club may incur a small fee.

    For those using public transport, take a bus from Thurso or other nearby towns to Wick. The bus service is provided by Stagecoach and operates regularly. Once you arrive at Wick bus station, you can either walk to the Wick Golf Club, which is approximately a 25-minute walk, or take a local taxi for a quicker option. The taxi ride will cost around £5 to £10. From the golf club, take the path down to Reiss Sands.

  • Walking

    If you're already in Wick and prefer walking, Reiss Sands is about 2 miles from the town center. Head northwest on the A99 and follow the road signs towards the Wick Golf Club. Once you reach the golf club, follow the path down to the beach. The walk will take approximately 40-50 minutes but offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
