After entering Lode, continue straight until you see the signs for Hoe Fen Wildlife Area. There is free parking available near the entrance.

If you are using public transportation, take a train from Cambridge Station to the nearby station of Waterbeach. From Waterbeach, take the bus service (Bus 10 or similar) to Lode. The bus will drop you off near the village center; from there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Hoe Fen Wildlife Area. Follow the signs to Hoe Fen, which will be well marked.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike in Cambridge. From the city center, cycle west along the River Cam path towards the A10. Follow the same route as the car instructions, but be sure to take the designated cycling paths for safety. The ride is scenic and should take about 30-40 minutes.

If you are already in the vicinity of Lode, you can walk to Hoe Fen Wildlife Area. From the center of Lode village, head east along the footpaths that lead towards the wildlife area. It is a pleasant walk of about 20-30 minutes through the countryside. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
