Walking from City Centre
From Cork’s main shopping streets around St Patrick’s Street, it’s a 5–10 minute walk to Nano Nagle Bridge along Grand Parade. The route is flat and fully paved, suitable for all mobility levels, and clearly signposted within the city centre.
Public Bus
Several city bus routes stop within a 3–7 minute walk of the bridge, near Grand Parade or the Opera Lane area. From there, follow signs toward the river and Grand Parade to reach the bridge on foot.
From St Fin Barre’s Cathedral
From the cathedral grounds, it’s about a 10–15 minute riverside walk east along the quays to reach Nano Nagle Bridge. The path is mostly level but can be narrow in places, with occasional steps near older quay sections.
