If you're traveling by car, head towards Carmarthen town. From the A40, take the exit onto the A4242 towards Carmarthen. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the top of the hill. Take the second exit onto the A485 towards Abergwili. Follow this road for about 1.5 miles, and you will see signs for Amgueddfa Sir Gâr - Carmarthenshire Museum. The museum has its own parking area, which is free for visitors.

To reach the museum by public transport, take a train to Carmarthen Station. From the station, you can catch a local bus (Service 1) towards Abergwili. The bus stop is located just outside the train station. Ride the bus for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the Abergwili stop. The museum is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs pointing towards the museum, which will lead you along a pleasant path through the park.
