If using public transportation, take a train from Edinburgh Waverley Station to North Berwick. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at North Berwick Station, exit the station and catch bus number 124 towards Dunbar. Get off at the Tantallon Castle stop. The castle is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you're already in North Berwick and prefer to walk, head southeast from the town center towards the coast. Follow the A198 road out of town, which leads directly to Tantallon Castle. The walk is about 2 miles and will take approximately 40 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way.
