From Haddington, take the A6093 road heading towards Gifford. After approximately 4 miles, you will enter the village of Gifford. Follow the signs for Yester Castle. The castle is located just outside the village, off the A6093. There is a small parking area available near the castle entrance. Please note that parking may be limited during busy tourist seasons.

To reach Yester Castle via public transport, take a train from Edinburgh to Haddington. From Haddington, you can catch the number 120 bus towards Gifford. The bus will drop you off at the Gifford village stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Yester Castle. Follow the signs towards the A6093, and then head west toward the castle.
