Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Edinburgh Waverley Station, exit the station onto Market Street. Turn right and walk along Market Street until you reach the junction with North Bridge. Cross North Bridge and continue straight onto the Royal Mile. Walk along the Royal Mile, passing several shops and attractions. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach Parliament Square. Barrie's Close is located at 1-6 Parliament Square, on your left. Look for a small alleyway leading to the close.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you are near the city center, you can catch a bus to the Royal Mile area. Look for bus stops that serve routes 2, 3, 10, or 33. Board the bus and request to get off at the 'High Street' stop. Once you disembark, walk down the Royal Mile towards Parliament Square. Barrie's Close is located on your left at 1-6 Parliament Square.

  From Edinburgh Castle, walk down the Royal Mile towards the Palace of Holyroodhouse. After around 20 minutes, you will pass Parliament Square on your right. Barrie's Close is located at 1-6 Parliament Square, just a short walk further along the street. Look for a small alleyway leading to the close.

  You can also take a taxi or use a ride-sharing service like Uber. Simply provide the driver with the address: 1-6 Parliament Square, Edinburgh EH1 1RF. The driver will take you directly to the location. This is a convenient option if you are carrying heavy luggage or prefer a more direct route.
