If you are starting from Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, which is Princes Street. Turn left onto Princes Street and walk until you reach North Bridge. Cross North Bridge and continue straight onto South Bridge. After about 5 minutes of walking, take a right onto Jeffrey Street. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, then turn left onto High Street (Royal Mile). Walk for about 3 minutes and then turn right onto Blair Street. The Department of Magic will be on your left at 9 Blair St, EH1 1QR.

If you are near the city center, you can catch a bus towards 'High Street' or 'Cowgate'. Board any bus that stops at the Royal Mile area. Once you get off, head towards the High Street and walk a short distance until you reach Blair Street. Turn right onto Blair Street, and you will find the Department of Magic at 9 Blair St, EH1 1QR.
